Your screenshots never leave your phone. Text is extracted on-device using Apple's built-in Vision framework — no image is ever uploaded, stored, or transmitted anywhere, by us or anyone else.
Your scan history and chat conversations are stored locally on your device only — we never see or keep a copy of that content. Deleting it in Settings → Delete my data removes it immediately and permanently from your device.
To apply your plan's scan and message limits fairly, we keep a running count against your anonymous account identifier — how many reads and messages you've used and your subscription tier. This is usage counts only, never the content of any conversation you've scanned. Settings → Delete my data doesn't remove this, since it exists to enforce your plan's limits correctly rather than being personal content — if you'd like it deleted entirely (for example, if you stop using the app), contact us and we'll remove it; see Contact below.
We do not use any analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else, for any reason.
There are none. Ask Wisp works anonymously, tied only to your device.
Ask Wisp is not directed at, and must not be used by, anyone under 16.
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
